Equipment Protection Plan

Effective December 1st, 2005 
 

This plan is optional for clients who signed on before December 1st of 2005 and included into the monthly charge for those who sign on after this date. 
 

     We are proud to announce our value added Equipment Protection Plan. Due to the recent rash of excessive lightening and static in the atmosphere this past year we have replaced quite a few radios/CPE (client premise equipment). We have devised a plan that would insure the coverage of the CPE installed by Networks of Central Ohio ltd.  The only limitation to this policy is that all gear must be “surge” protected by a name brand surge protector i.e. APC, Tripp Lite, Belkin.  We will only honor the EPP if these brand names are used with the proper installation and grounding at the outlet.  The cost of the Plan is $4.05 extra added on to your monthly bill.  If are a client who signed on before the above date and you choose not to partake in this program, please be aware that you will be charged for all applicable parts and labor if/when you get "zapped" by lightening or static surge. The complete cost of the gear and labor generally runs around $400.00 for replacement. 

This plan covers the following

Radio/CPE – the equipment mounted to exterior of your home or business

Antennas, Power supply, POE injectors, Lightning arrestors
